I think this is a great looking concept (if you scroll a few posts further down, he further redesigns, but I prefer his first take with the pants stripes inspired by the stripes on the basketball unis)

Other than the the navy and the logo, there's nothing fundamentally wrong with this look.

You have to admire the time and effort that went into all of these, for a whole bunch of teams. And no, I'm not a fan of the current BB candy cane striping. It was maybe OK for a year or two. Then quickly became associated with Prohm's last couple of teams, which do not elicit fond memories. And I'm sure we will be on to something new with the BB unis, maybe next year.
There are a lot of cool concepts in there (looking beyond ISU's).
I don't mind the tornado-striping idea for the pants, but I imagine seeing it with a full team (like offense in formation before a play) - it might be a bit goofy. Or maybe it'd be cool, IDK. Love the gold helmet option, of course.
Some kind of pant-striping would help with package tie-together in some combos.
With gold outline/trim, it's a no brainer. Looks so much better.
That’s what I’m saying. It needs to be done. Instantly enhances our look and our primary home uniform can be with the white pants.
the incorporation of white with the cardinal and gold is why the away uniforms looks so good but the homes leave a bit to be desired.
Maybe with the coaching staff shake up we'll get some changes to the unis. I think it was posted here somewhere that the players least favorite uni combo is the home cardinals and one of their favs was the away whites so I think it's safe to say we aren't the only ones who don't like the all cardinal unis. Adding some stripes to the pants and some white accents would be killer.
Due to COVID and other issues, Nike is a year or two behind on template updates so one would think a refresh is due for the 2023 season.
If side stripes and/or shoulder stripes (likely not) are added, I really like like what the Rams and Chargers did with their narrow stripes on both of their uni re-boot when they moved to SoFi.
I've been told that they've also shitcanned a bunch of people in their design department, which is part of the holdup.
