Nice, thanks. I was thinking it would also be cool just to use the "State" part of the logo with the five litters arced across and centered on each of the five Trice Stripes. And maybe the center Trice stripe could be emphasized (by perhaps a gold outline) to suggest the "I" used with red Trice Stripes as below.

Totally agree on this one. Probably my favorite of the uni combos we have now.
I don't mind the block for simplicity and clarity but I prefer the flat/two-color compared to the shading/bevels. I am probably in the minority, but I think the shading it gives it a cheap modern minor league baseball logo look.

All I can think of when I see these are the guys in their striped overalls.

I do agree with you on the 2 tone vs the 3d logo. I do think they have went to using the 2ton logos and the black and white logos for athletics, and the 3d logo for the University, as it is supposed to look more refined. Which is ok I guess.
I would like to see someone with some talent for making these mock ups make a gold helmet with the above curved "Cyclones" logo, as a modern version of the 80s, gold with the cyclones, helmet.
The current cardinal or white with one of the versions of the above right would look cool on occasion I think. The black would really look good on white helmets and the gold would look good with our cardinal set while wearing the white helmets.
I think there are a lot of different things we could do with even our current logo set to mix things up by using the above logos on out helmet, supplementing them on occasion in place of the IState logo. Plus throwing in the current tornado Cy some time, and a retro logo on occasion as well.
Fair enough. I’m not real high on the Sooners. Period.
Haha rank Baylor last and Oklahoma first. Logos are pretty similar.

I did slight toning for the cardinal & gold versions to make the colors a little deeper, not saying these are better, just an alternate.

Tertiary blue was just a weird phase that we need to move on from. The updated swirly cy with only cardinal and gold is good.
The unbeveled/stencil/2-color I-state logo is great and needs to be kept.
^this!!! Yes! The white pants just don’t go with the cardinal jerseys very well because there’s no cardinal on the pants and no white on the jersey. That’s why the cardinal/white/cardinal is the best uniform. The cardinal jersey doesn’t work with the other pants as well. Only the white jersey goes well with both the cardinal and white pants.
At first I liked the blue (being my favorite color), but being 15 years separated from it I agree. Even black would have been a better choice, considering it's been used on previous Cy logos.
But do we really have 4 helmets? All we know for sure now is that we have 3 (cardinal, white, black) helmets. We haven't seen the chrome helmet since when was it, the 2017 Memphis Liberty Bowl? Maybe once the following year in 2018 but I can't really remember. So we get the chrome helmet for the Liberty Bowl, maybe we saw the chrome in 2018, (was it the TCU game?), no chrome in 2019, nor in 2020.
And we had the black helmets by 2018 right (was that the 1st year for the black helmets, along with the black collar on the cardinal jersey?), so maybe we had 4 helmets in 2018 only?
Unless they are sitting in storage somewhere, doubtful. I think they got sent back to the factory. Just a guess. Three helmets are hard enough to maintain.
