I think the biggest thing is we have our own look. It is nice to have our own identity instead of a knock off from someone else... See: ISU and USC last couple years, Iowa and the Steelers, K-State and the Cowboys.

They think using Tight Ends and having good Dline play originate there too so wouldn't surprise me.
I'm starting to wonder why the CF HOF isn't at the very least in Coralville.
Iowa could benefit from a different placement or emphasis on gold. Could copy the Steelers recent color-rush combo either as a primary or a frequent alternate. (Can't believe I'm doing a Hawkeyes uniform post, but ... well, here we are.)

Disagree. Campbell is meticulous in all things football, including uniforms. So I think he does care. Thankfully he is more meticulous about the game than the uniforms, but he cares about the uniforms also. Hence the new uniforms, combos, etc. Who didn't care a lick about the uniforms were the previous two coaching regimes.
And I for one never said anything about "questioning the uniforms". How much fun would that be? We do it all the time.

Going with all blacks for Snyder's funeral game. That's nice of us.
The pictures posted on Twitter look a little different as though the pants are gray rather than the same black as the jersey. Looks like the lighter gray like the accent in the collar.
