I agree with that sentiment as well. Also, since it's likely going to be raining and the field will be a mudbath, it might be better to be wearing the all black.

I'm trying to think what uniforms TCU will wear? If they go all white, then both teams will have white helmets and white pants. I just think we'll have a lot of white on for being the home team.

That's be better contrast between the teams. What I've seen of TCU's current set is the all-black, white-purple-purple and all-white. Maybe they plan to use other combos from that, but I haven't noticed what they used this season.

I agree with some who said it might not be ideal since TCU uses black, too, but if ISU wants to use the combo (and also the all-black again), not many options, at least home games. Don't want to use it vs. OSU since that's a main color. That leaves TCU, Texas and Kansas.

Im one of those that feels if you are going to do the blackout look you stay with black and white. The color just doesnt look right in that look, then it does start looking like we are going for a TexTech look or something. And if we went with a normal logo it looks like we ran out of elements to complete the look.
Do wish this was going to be a night game for these though.

I think there is a variety of black items for sale.

Hell, I think CF has a black polo for sale.

I love this uniform combination. What I don't love about it is the timing of wearing it. The combination looks very TCU-ish with Iowa State playing TCU this weekend.

If they go purple helmet, white jersey (because they have to), purple pants we won't look anything alike.

I heard that CMC is sick of the natural field because he doesn't like the color green. So next year we will be going with a Fresh new all Black Turf field. Because he only likes black.
