I'm in the camp of "don't care about school colors with a sick look like this." Every night game (not that we have many) should have the black/black or black/white combo.

I see your point. I just don't think it's a good one. I'll bet you think, in 1892, we should have said "Come now, good sir, Cyclones don't play football. The Squawks have been playing it since 1889. Let's all have a nice game of cricket after tea!!"

But I do wonder what it would look like with maybe just the "I" on the helmet logo being cardinal? I'd just like to see a tiny bit of cardinal somewhere.
Or even the helmet below, but with a black facemask, and then the black jersey and white pants....

Our original school colors were black and silver. So if you have a problem with the uniforms, just pretend they are throwbacks.
I love this uniform combination. What I don't love about it is the timing of wearing it. The combination looks very TCU-ish with Iowa State playing TCU this weekend.
I agree with that sentiment as well. Also, since it's likely going to be raining and the field will be a mudbath, it might be better to be wearing the all black.
I'm trying to think what uniforms TCU will wear? If they go all white, then both teams will have white helmets and white pants. I just think we'll have a lot of white on for being the home team.
