I've put it on twitter and got a few re-tweets, so I'm trying to help you out... Need some sort of better publicity for it though if you really want to make an impact, as I don't know if even 1000 would be sufficient.
It's been spread around facebook quite a bit, Keith Murphy tweeted it, but I'm open to suggestions. I'll email Dave Ubben and see if he'll post it or tweet it. I'm confident that the vitriol this entire situation stirred up will be sufficient to force ICGA to change the trophy. If not it might be pretty funny to take up a collection amongst the fanbases, create our own trophy and see if we could get it presented to the winner of the game.

Mr. Hankey would be an improvement over this trophy.
Maybe things got confusing since it was revealed at the State Fair. I'm guessing this was supposed to have been a butter sculpture since it's design would be better suited for that.
The new trophy sucks. cant it just be cy and hurly the hawknose beating each other senseless with ears of corn? that would be the greatest trophy in sports. or to tone it down each hold the golden ear of corn and punch each other until the other lets go.
also the telephone trophy should now be replaced with the mizzou tiger and cy beating each other with phones. or trying to rip the phone out of the others hands at least.

Ahh... Yes, because the invention of basketball obviously has a lot to do with the Iowa State vs Iowa football game. And don't give the lame excuse that the ears of corn are shaped like footballs, as they more than likely just thought that up after everyone was ******** at them about how much their trophy sucked.
I'm not sure that explanation even written on the trophy would have avoided all of this unpleasantness.
