Great pick up guy is a tall corner with great on the ball skills. Has great foot speed and like said he was committed to OSU out of high school n barely missed qualifying. Great Christmas gift to cyclONEnation

Questions for those that follow Fb recruiting. How many are we expected to sign? Who is the best prospect we are recruiting?

Depends on how much attrition and transfers take place. We were thought to have a small class this year. Now it looks like it will definitely be over 20 and maybe a few more.

Foster might be the highest rated one we are after.

Here is a Scout story on our newest commit Lonnie Johnson. He is a CB with good size and good cover skills. Had 5 Int. this past year. I believe he has 3 years to play 2.

True. Aside from KCM and Peavy, I don't think any would be major losses. Tribune has started a bunch of games, but seems to have plateaued the last couple of years.

Seemed like he had a couple good games against Baylor and Texas (minus the 17 dropped INTs), but completely fell apart afterwards.

Lonnie Johnson was a 4 star WR/CB recruit out of high school. He has great hands to go along with the agility at CB.

On another note...I'm wondering why no hawk trolls are badmouthing our recruits...hmmm...seems oddly quiet from them on that front these days.

We will be likely running a 4-2-5...at least in big 12. U need 7-8 solid Dbs to rotate. I'd expect this class to be 23-25 kids and prob ranked top 45-50. Just wait a week to 10 days and we will find out who is leaving.

Good post. And pretty much what will happen IMO. It sounds like Campbell is pretty straight forward. I have heard that maybe 10 guys won't be back. And from the way things are shaking out I think that could be the case.

Just curious as I have do not have an "insider", who are your hearing won't be back? Why? Where are they likely to go?

A Midwest analyst on Scout said he was told by a coach that Johnson could be the next Josh Normann. Also pretty sure Johnson was told by the staff he is gong to play CB.
