Netflix: Daredevil

I finished the series earlier this week - I was really impressed. I felt that it kind of lost a step in the last episode but it was still a great show.

My beef with Foggy wasn't with the character, it was the actor. And even then I didn't really dislike the performance, I just thought his character was the "weakest" out of the gate. I really grew to like Foggy as a character, especially when he had his chance to shine away from Matt Murdoch. It just seemed that his character of the "awkward guy" was coming from an actor that didn't really seem all that awkward in the scenes. His dialogue didn't really come off as genuine at least in the first two episodes. I know, that probably doesn't make sense and it involves waaay more over-thinking, but this is a Cyclone message board and there is plenty of over-thinking to go around. This was my turn.

All in all, great show, great casting, great season 1. I hope they renew it for Season 2 and I can't wait to see how things work out for the other MCU shows that Netflix is working on.

As somebody who loves to over analyze pretty much anything especially TV and movies (drives my wife nuts) I can totally see what you're getting at. Definitely agree that the character got a lot better as the season went on.

Jon Bernthal was just cast as Frank Castle "the punisher" for season 2 of daredevil. I like this idea.

Fisk was always a pretty withdrawn character in the comics. You rarely see him outside of his home/office tower.

This is what I was thinking, in the series, the actor is awful that plays him but he's so bad, that it feels really comic booky and worked IMO. The acting is pretty suspect throughout but I couldn't stop watching the series.

Any one else started watching season 2? Its pretty good so far (I've caught the first two episodes) The Punisher is a pretty unique character.

Two episodes left, this season is pretty good. Not many times I can say I have no idea what will happen watching anything anymore but there are so many twists going on its fun to watch.
