I finished the series earlier this week - I was really impressed. I felt that it kind of lost a step in the last episode but it was still a great show.
My beef with Foggy wasn't with the character, it was the actor. And even then I didn't really dislike the performance, I just thought his character was the "weakest" out of the gate. I really grew to like Foggy as a character, especially when he had his chance to shine away from Matt Murdoch. It just seemed that his character of the "awkward guy" was coming from an actor that didn't really seem all that awkward in the scenes. His dialogue didn't really come off as genuine at least in the first two episodes. I know, that probably doesn't make sense and it involves waaay more over-thinking, but this is a Cyclone message board and there is plenty of over-thinking to go around. This was my turn.
All in all, great show, great casting, great season 1. I hope they renew it for Season 2 and I can't wait to see how things work out for the other MCU shows that Netflix is working on.
As somebody who loves to over analyze pretty much anything especially TV and movies (drives my wife nuts) I can totally see what you're getting at. Definitely agree that the character got a lot better as the season went on.
