3? It's more like everybody besides you.

Naw LOL, but I'll take having an SI NBA writer on by side over some random dudes on a message board, including one who didn't even know Spoelstra coached Miami before LeBron got there LOL.

But District did provide the best quote for Karl's career:

He led a lot of mediocre teams, to mediocre results. I'm impressed.

So I do thank him for that quote.

or my website, but yeah, just ignore it.

Spoelstra is pretty mediocre. Once LeBron leaves Miami, we'll see the fraud. Don't cry too much though when it happens.

anyways, CyJack, how are your Hawkeyes gonna do this year? Kirk gonna not run out of gum this year?

I bet Spoelstra can reach the lofty standards Karl had set, winning two playoff series in a decade. That's going to be oh so tough to match LOL

Cash I can't believe you thought the Lakers would win last night. That's got to be the worst starting backcourt in playoffs history doesn't it?

LOL what? You didn't think a team starting Darius Morris and Andrew Goudelock was a lock to win too?

CyCash continues to impressive with his NBA knowledge LOL.

Lakers looked like trash last night. Rio Grande Vipers could have beat them.

You type like a 13 year old girls so I'm not going to argue but Karl>Spoelstra. Spoelstra wasn't good before LeBron and he won't be after.

Spoelstra took his team to the playoffs twice before LeBron got there, that's all Karl has done for 9 of the last 10 years as coach. That's why that argument fails so much. Karl hasn't had any real success of his own. Spoelstra had a lot of talent, but so does every other NBA coach who wins a title. Karl had great Seattle teams in the 90's and lost in the first round the year he had the best chance to win it all. If Karl had achieved real success without elite talent, then you would have an argument, but he hasn't so...you don't.

not really, just can't stand people who don't admit they are wrong.

Nuggets to steal one in Oakland and Lakers pulling it off against the Spurs are my predictions.

You're either a non-sports fan making a prediction or a sports fan on crack. Which one are you? Solely talking about the lakers pick of course.

Have you found one other person on here yet to agree that Spoelstra > Karl?

I've got SI's NBA writer on my side, so I'll take that over the people on here who a)didn't realize Spoelstra was coach of the Heat before LeBron got there, or b)think George Karl took the Nuggets to the Finals.

It would have been much quicker to type "no".

I'm sure I could find some guy on the internet who claims that Jeff Van Gundy is the greatest NBA coach ever, too.

What do they think of this over on HN?

Then do it brah, and if writes about basketball for a major sports website I'll value his opinion.
