I’ll help you out, Nate Stanley wasn’t a major reason Iowa beat Iowa State 13-3.Yet he always beats us?
This fan thing. You’re doing it wrong.
If, for some reason, you thought this post was clever, save it, print it, tattoo it on your ass, so you don't ever try it again.Almost as obvious, but not near as embarrassing, as when Allen Lazard penned a heartfelt letter about returning for his senior season.
In other news @benjimill is going to post something really strange.

I wonder if Todd McShay has updated his list yet?

Puffy being the correct adjective.Funny, I just listened to the Ryen Russillo Ringer pod with Todd McShay and he actually mentioned Stanley with as a QB potential that needed to return to school. The thought of Stanley going pro caught me off guard, I just assumed he had torpedoed his early draft stock due to his play and was off everyone's boards. I suppose he did fail enough for this year and that is why he's returning to try and resurrect it. He's losing Faint and possibly his other TE and assuming his WR aren't significantly improved it will be a lot to overcome.
Stanley has the arm and "size" of an NFL QB so hell get some scouts attention but it doesn't do much good without being accurate. The EIU puff pieces in August on his pro potential will be fun to read.
Warning objective post.
While he’s got some issues putting the ball where it needs to be he’s got decent size. He won’t be a first rounder next year either but beatherd has a job so it wouldn’t surprise me if we see him in the league for a few years.
Ya. He’s a legit pro prospect. And all his overthrows may get ran down by some faster NFL receivers.
