Suspend him for the exhibition games. Not a big deal.
That's valuable game time experience. Suspend him for the offseason and lift it on a Friday afternoon when there are bigger stories out there so it gets buried in the news.
I get people like to staunchly and blindly defend players/coaches in any situation but just stop. The guy got busted for drunk driving, I don't care about the details...it was a stupid move.
You say this until someone you love gets hit by a car driven by someone who was intoxicated.
Man, when it rains it pours. Hopefully things will turn around for you guys soon.
If he was out showing BDJ around and was responsible for him in anyway shape or form, and we end up not getting BDJ as a result, I think you have to kick him off the team.
If this is his second offense with a DUI-OWI situation, as someone referred to during his NIU days, he's got to go.
I'm not entirely of the 'no tolerance' position, but Fred is bringing in some high-risk transfers from time to time, Nader included. I think you have to set the bar high in terms of what you expect in terms of character and conduct. If Nader isn't disciplined properly, Fred could start losing some of the respect he's achieved since arriving here.
I think worst case scenario, you've got to keep him out the first semester. Have him watching games along with McKay.
Some of you are over reacting. He didn't get kicked off the team or anything at NIU so it's not like he was a high risk transfer such as Lucious and Allen was.
2-5 game suspension is all that is needed. Hoping for 3

Yeah I have no idea where Nader being a high risk transfer came from. He left NIU for ISU because he wanted to win and better promote himself for the NBA.
Holy **** this post
