Most Improbable Win Since?

I think there was a stretch in the WVU game that we found a little something and I think today we built on that and kinda just played with a **** it what do we have to lose attitude. So we didn't panic when Baylor came out swinging in the 2nd half.

The TCU road win last year felt pretty improbable. This one more, but like this one, last year we headed to Ft. worth on a 4 game skid and also got pounded by the frogs at home a few weeks earlier.

KU road win in 2017. We just lost at home by double digits to WVU and it felt like things were headed for the drain.

And that game started off a streak that was literally one of the best streaks in Iowa State history. (I think we won 7 out of 8.)

Thank you basketball Gods and Cyclone team and coaches. This just makes everyone feel a whole lot better. Proud of how they responded, shared the ball, regained double digit lead after Baylor cut it to 4, and the only negative.......just unfortunate we had to reach almost rock bottom before we saw this again. Proud of TJ for playing all those guys, giving them some ownership and pride in contributing, etc. Please do not say we won because we kicked off Caleb, lets hope he gets the help he needs. Probably alot of people learned lessons. And lets' hope we see this type of performance again this season!!

An incredibly important win in more ways than one.

It would have been one thing if we had stopped the slide at home against an average team. That would have been like, "hey, they stopped the skid and got some positive thoughts going into postseason".

This one not only stopped the skid, but it should certainly bring the confidence and swagger back. Not many teams have the capability to go into senior day at the #7 team in the country and dominate them.
