22 yards is Montgomery's longest career touchdown run. He's had several longer non-scoring ones.
 
How about Dexter Green? Before the time I paid much attention to iSu football, so I ask rather than assert he should be in that conversation.

Dexter is underrated because of the generation gap. There simply isn't a whole lot of video out there for people to compare against guys like TD and Montgomery. He was an injury away from three straight 1,000-yard seasons (11 games/season), and was on the cover of the NCAA's official football guide as a senior.

I’m not embarrassed to admit my dream for next year includes a half dozen 300+ lb men.

I really hope we get to watch DM play with a good run blocking Iowa State Oline.

I thought about him after I submitted my other post. Don't know how I forgot him. ISU has been blessed with great running backs
 
Here's to 2018 being a year where he leads the NCAA in yards gained, and not broken tackles. Please please please Baby Jesus let Manning go to work on these boys.
 
George Amundson was a pretty good running back for a guy who wasn't a running back. Fifteen rushing TDs and 4.6 yards a carry in 11 games his junior year when he played RB.

Are we allowed to compare him to a white running back? Maybe that is just basketball where you can't compare a white guy to a black guy and vise versa.

So much maturity for a Sophomore. I think Sheldon is going to be good, I think his initial speed is faster than Montgomery. Hope warren gets healthier, also a very talented player.
