If I had a million $, I'd probably buy 4 $250k houses. I could net at least $2000/month in rent on each house. That's $8k/month for life, minus expenses.

Of course there are ways to make more if you take a bigger risk, but I'm not much of a risk taker when it comes to finances.

Because 99% of people will never act on their idea. And 99.999% of people won't actually steal an idea because the idea is worthless. It is the execution that is valuable.

I think a lot of people are realizing that. We are currently in the market for a home and most homes we are looking at that are of any value (within our price range) are FSBO.

I hope that is the trend (I say that with several realtor friends). Realtors definitely can provide value but (IMO) no where near the cost. People may think differently if they physically had a write a $12,000 check to their realtor up front to sell their house.

We bought our house from FSBO and is was awesome. Agreed to a price within 2 minutes, no hassle.

One app pertains to a fantasy sports league I created with a friend that its currently all on excell. The other is more of a general idea.

There's a fantasy sport without an app? Actually, I created an application (before smart phones) for my Dad's NASCAR fantasy league in the late 90's. Should I port it to mobile?

Seriously though, I'm the opposite. I can write Android apps but don't have any good ideas (that haven't already been done) other than my widgets.
