Here's my Messingham impression:

He's horrible. You could take a knee every down and not be much worse off. He get's paid big bucks to do this. This is Iowa, not Alabama. A hurt OL is no excuse to go 3 and out every ******* time.
Based on what I've seen, the plays have been there but the blocks/catches haven't been made. You have players missing blocks everywhere.
At some point, the players have to play. Chip Kelly would struggle if his players missed the number of blocks our guys have so far.

Why? This isn't Jack Lambert, Mean Joe Greene and the "Steel Curtain". This is a bad Hawkeye team. And he had two weeks to prepare. And this is the best he can do? My 8 year old daughter could draw up better plays with a box of crayons.
Darn, can we hire Fred Hoiberg as an offensive coordinator, he knows a thing about high octane offense and he knows a thing about football
Yes and no. Our guys have played horribly. But at this point you have to question how they were prepared. And Sam and the running backs are playing scared.
I agree, though one would think that we would recognize this and not have Sam stand in the pocket all game. I wonder if he is still dinged up?
Sure but you have to ask yourself if the coaching staff is putting them in the best chance to succeed. The answer to that question is a big fat no.
Exactly... Roll his ***** out. Work with what you got. O-line can't move anybody or open a hole. Line can't give SR time to find open guys and WR can't get separation. Stop trying to for a circle into a square and work with ur talents.
Messingham is like an Art major trying to teach a 9th grade math class. He's in a job he was never qualified to do and should have NEVER been asked to do it.
