The public issue forced their hand. Otherwise if they suspended him or fired him they would have had to air it out and show cause. Considering he is one of a handful of black P5 coaches and the issue with his contract they had to have this locked up tight.
I think the other issue is this appears (could be wrong) as a one off thing. Not saying he isn’t a predator but I imagine they thought the risk to others was minimal to zero. Still needs to be fired but I get the process when this is a he said she said issue. They just better not **** this up.
Admit it, it is funny. Probably job ending, and stupid as hell, but funny.
You can have any interpretation you want. I never condoned his actions.
He still did the action though. It's still a thing he did. If he groped someone and they left the room and reported it, it still happened.

I'm not interpreting anything. I'm trying to figure out if you think whacking it to someone's presence (seemingly without their consent) is an okay thing to do. Is it, or not?
It's not just public masterbation though. And, also, why should people be allowed to do that? It's gross. No one wants to see that or hear that.
If she condones, then yes, it ok.
I was responding to a post about how someone was surprised at how many people were fired for public masterbation. I took that to mean that that poster thought it was OK if it didn't harm any one.
