Mel Tucker is under investigation

Wow... this is perfect for MSU... couldn't have gone any better. Able to get rid of Mel for cause and not have to pay him off. Perfect for them!

But what is in the water in East Lansing? Yikes... such a cesspool.

He could have survived if it were not for the recent history at MSU and the gymnastic coach. He can’t survive this now
If there was no Nassar and he was coming off the 11 win season then maybe, but because of who the victim is and the history he has to go.

Honey trap?

I dont think the AD would try such a thing, but a bitter zillionaire? Maybe...

And not on camera?

It sounds like Tucker's a piece of work to begin with but it really just can't be this difficult to not do something like this.
Just shrugging off perversion and calling it no big deal is bs. If someone does this in the open then imagine how bad their behavior is off camera. I don’t think it’s too much to ask our representatives to conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Yeah fwiw I'M not shrugging it off; it's disgusting.

It's just worse that one would feel the need to get the camera out in addition.

Wasn’t implying you were but there’s a certain percentage of people who clearly don’t have an issue with this sort of thing. I won’t go any further than that because I don’t want to cave the thread.

Just to set the facts straight, the story said it happened on a phone call.

Even if she did that doesn’t excuse the behavior and is still a fireable offense. It’s extra disgusting due to her status as a survivor and what he brought her in for.
Did I hear correctly that he's still married and his wife works at MSU?

Regardless of whether the relationship was consensual, if the coach is a married man who admitted to bopping his baloney during a phone conversation with the sexual harassment prevention speaker, couldn't that be a clear case of the moral turpitude clause in his contract which brings embarrassment to his university?
