Details of the contract have not been reported yet. It's hard to believe they'd give him a fully guaranteed three year deal considering his lack of NBA experience, so it's more likely that the deal will have a team option and/or non-guaranteed money.

Still, awesome for him! Great opportunity with a rock-solid franchise.

I'm curious for the one year deal as likely it's enough to make him leave his situation (as it seems he was doing very well).

Yeah, maybe they structured it to make it worth his while to take the risk. I mean, it's not like he can't go back to Europe if it doesn't work out but he had a pretty good thing going in Spain.
