It's weird how few NBA teams will look outside the box and sign players that don't fit a particular mold.
This is Great. It also means that the team that lost to UAB had 7 players that signed NBA contracts. Niang, Naz, Thomas, Burton, Monte, BJD, and Nader. Sorry to bring up a bad memory, just thought it was interesting.
Yeah... Nobody ever question the level of talent on that team...

I would guess only 1 year guaranteed with team options for 2nd and 3rd year.
This is so dumb. Duke had the best nba prospect in years and barely made the Sweet sixteen.
Details of the contract have not been reported yet. It's hard to believe they'd give him a fully guaranteed three year deal considering his lack of NBA experience, so it's more likely that the deal will have a team option and/or non-guaranteed money.
Still, awesome for him! Great opportunity with a rock-solid franchise.
You beat me to it....that's the ONE negative from this GREAT news for Matt...is a few more shakes of salt into that loss
I think it's more of a comment to the people that bag on Prohm's lack of success with all his NBA talent. Or at least that's how I took it.
