Him and Thor ended on a good note the last movie though so that doesn't make sense.

There is no good note with Loki. Thats why hes the "trickster". He fooled Thor and took the throne. Thats not good terms.

Also, what is with all these trailers throwing in all the old heavy metal music and everyone seemingly going nuts for it??? The Suicide Squad trailer is another good example. I hated that music then and still don't like it now. Seems like I'm apparently in the minority o_O:rolleyes::D

Haha. I am starting to sound like a crotchety old man today aren't I??? Or, maybe I'm sounding like a young youth who thinks the music my parents loved sucks?? Which is it?? I'm not even sure I can tell... haha.

If you just said that Led Zeppelin sucks, I will not trust your opinion on anything ever.

Thor: Ragnarok first teaser trailer just dropped. I'm still trying to decide if I like where they are going with this one or not. What I know for sure I don't like is trailers like this that pretty much tell the entire plot for the first half of the movie in the trailer.... I mean seriously, especially in the first trailer!!! Kind of makes me angry. Lastly, thought the "work friend" line was pretty cheasy if that is the direction they are going with the humor.

Love it. This is gonna be good. Looks like a nice mix of the serious battle and some humor to lighten it up.

Fun movie on the way there.

Led Zeppelin worked great in that trailer I thought. As for suicide squad, Queen is as much heavy metal as Maroon 5 :)

Not a huge Zeppelin fan. However, this was a solid use, I can get on board.

The lyrics even make sense.

I've been holding my tongue on this one a bit getting to see behind the curtain a little...but I've been absolutely pumped for it with everything looking incredible.

If you think Led Zeppelin and Queen are heavy metal...oh boy, the things I could show you. Ha!

I'm an 80s/90s kid but this is my favorite Zeppelin song. I listened to it before my wrestling matches and it worked every time. Perfect song and lyrics for that trailer.

Doesn't matter to me. All gets heaped onto the same garbage pit. It isn't that I hate 80s music either because I actually love it. However, what I like would probably be more referred to as 80s pop probably. My disdain for anything 80s or 70s rock/metal all started when that is all that ever got played in the weight room when I was growing up. Made me not want to lift weights. I hate the whole rock persona too. Worked backstage security for a Guns and Roses concert in Ames during college and I've never wanted to punch someone in my life as much as I wanted to punch Axel Rose. I'm just glad all that music mostly disappeared over the past 10 years or so, outside of Paul Rhoad's Smoke on the Water fetish (don't get me started), only to apparently come back now.

This is understandable, Axel is a POS.
I think you are confusing Metal with Butt Rock though. Metal would be Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Iron Maiden, etc

Oh, I don't doubt that I'm blending and mixing everything together in an almost hysterical matter. Ultimately, it just doesn't matter to me. They all get heaped together into the same dumpster fire. It is worth noting too that I worked security for the Metallica concert as well. Needless to say, I was far from impressed. Haha, I'm apparently in rant mode this morning, which is pretty rare for me. Thanks for not coming down too hard on me yet. Sometimes a man just needs to let off some steam apparently ;):) I do really hope I'm completely wrong and Thor: Ragnarok is awesome. I'm far from someone who ever roots for any of these things to fail.

I have been wondering when that was coming!

Just finished the series last night. It might have a bit more optimism and positivity than some might expect, including myself. There is not doubt I've been pretty hard on it so far.
