As others have said, Oklahoma -- no question, given parameters of the thread.

ISU could go 1-11 or go unbeaten in regular season, at each extreme. I see no downside of breaking the home-skid vs. OU — at worst, it's a "wasted shocker."

I wouldn't pick the Sooners because if we beat them there wouldn't be enough ambulances in the entire country to handle the cardiac arrests that would result. So Oklahoma is out. We have beaten everyone else in the conference at least once, so we don't need an automatic win against any of them, so they're out. The hok game is already an automatic win for us, so the hoks are out. That leaves NDSU and Toledo. We beat NDSU in our only game with them, so they're out. We have beaten Toledo once and lost to them once, so, just out of pure revenge, they are my choice for the automatic win. And really, when it comes down to it, they are the only logical choice.

I'd be 97 or 98 (depending on what part in the season the game was played) if we did that. Not saying it couldn't happen, my great-grandfather made it to 104 (and saw the Cubs win a World Series), but I'm thinking the odds are against it.
