It’s amazing to me that over 10 freaking years, mad fran has yet to have a season that was clearly better than Iowa states. There have been years where it’s been close (this year being one of them). And one could make an argument that there have been one or two where he’s been better. But not one has he been obviously better.

His answer, "Because I said so".

Translation: I don't respect you. I'm the highly paid person here and I thus I can treat you as if I was talking to a child. I don't have an intelligent answer for you and it doesn't matter because "i said so".

What a creep. "Because I said so" as an answer should be limited to parent (or teachers) talking to children. Not adults talking to other adults.

I think Fran just wants to be wanted. He saw how ISU fans got worked up and wanted Prohm to stay when Bama was looking around and wanted to be liked in the same way, by Iowa fans.

People say Iowa is a good job, if so why have their coaches left to take worse jobs? Not like Arkansas is a bad job, but that program isn't good right now and they just fired a good coach.

Arizona before it was good, USC, Fired-retired, New Mexico State, Fired, and where ever Fran ends up.

For ISU it has been Retired-with pressure, Bulls, Natty Light, Fired, Creighton, Bulls.
