Twitter is saying Fran met with Arkansas, say it cant be so. Sounds like Little Petino and Nevada coach are also candidates.

Is Arkansas really a better job than Iowa or Houston? If you can't get Chicago corridor talent to Iowa you aren't going to be able to get deep south talent in Arkansas.
Same thing it wouldn't be any easier to get talent to Arkansas than Houston. Arkansas glory years are almost as distant as Houston's too.

There is no way in hell Arkansas is hiring Fran. Fran's next stop is at a mid major.

Fran knows he can get Barta to pay him more money with this stuff floating around. Hopefully he gets a raise and a higher buyout.
Barta better take a page from Kentucky and lock Fran down for life. He's just too valuable a commodity to let him just leave.
If they met and that was leaked, Fran might be interested. I bet Barta is writing a new contract as I type.

Just checked out Arkansas's roster. Let's just say that they don't match the typical McCaffrey racial makeup of a team.
