Sounds like he deserves a contract extension!

I think you've overused this one. Pretty sure both fanbases are ready for new coaches, just found this thread interesting considered CPR has about the same lengthy contract. Difference being, Iowa is much more attractive job and $ isn't an issue.

I think it's funny when Hok fans don't understand why I'm always pushing them so hard to buy season tickets and go to games and buy lots of gear and increase their donation amounts every year.

I'm not overusing anything. I genuinely want Ferentz, Barta and Fran to stay in Iowa City forever. You speaking to his past successes just means he should get to stay as long as he wants

You don't even have past success to speak of. Keep doing what you're doing.

I know and I wasn't defending ISU's head coach. What Ferentz has done in Iowa City is nothing short of a miracle and you should feel blessed to have a coach as good as him locked up until 2020

He's also 34-30 over his last five years, including a sub .500 (19-21) record in the very anemic Big Ten. How big was that contract again? More than $4 million a year?

He's so awesome UI is slashing the cost of student tickets for next year! Make it rain, Kirk!
