Little McCaffery's Status for Thursday

If Connor wasn’t Frans son, would he be a power 5 player?

He should be at UNI..same for everyone minus Cook, Garza, Moss (3 point shooter), and Wieskamp
He is great at dribbling in circles and playing dirty. I doubt if Jacobsen would want a player that like that

How is this funny @dexterhawk? Green, Burhow and Lohaus are better than anything Iowa has to put out there

I saw about 10 minutes of the second half, but did see him go in for a layup. He came in, drew contact, put the layup up and with the off hand came down hard and poked the MN player in the eye and raked his face. I have never seen a player throw their free arm out completely sideways and slam it down hard during a layup.

Why is there not a gif of this yet?

Keep in mind Connor is shooting 35.9% from the floor and 8.3% from 3 pt land. That's not a typo. Nepotism at it's finest

"Well, honestly, he should shoot the ball a little more because he's a good shooter."
Early in that same article, Fran was asked about whether he'd rather play a team that was coming off a loss or a win. Here was his answer:
"If you're going to make a generalization, then you have to have the data to back it up."
I think that is a great answer but, had he been using that same logic, there is no way he could have concluded that Connor should be shooting it more. But, no one has ever accused Franny of being rational.

Serious question, wasn't baseball the sport that many thought he was going to choose over bball because he was the better prospect there?

I think that’s what the few sane hawk b-ball fans were hoping.

He was rated like the 5th best MLB draft prospect in the B1G prior to the baseball season starting this winter by one service. Obviously, the season didnt play out like that.

He just needs to pick a sport, I dont really care which one.

If he is playing basketball this season he shouldnt have gone out east to play baseball. God knows, his jumper needs a ton of work.
