They appear to do a good job of preparing for bowl games over recent years. Should have beat a decent BYU last year and then blew out a few ranked teams a few years back

The big story here is OU getting left out of The BCS when they only lose to two number one teams. How in the world does that happen?

Look at the records of NIU's league opponents this year. What a joke!

Which is why the Big 12 and SEC created The Champions Bowl.

The system is broken. You have to fix it yourself. You can't rely on the other guys to fix it, because they caused it.

How does Tulsa feel? They won their league championship game.

Rhoads will use the extra practice time to prepare for next year. That's the big reward for going bowling.

Riiiiiiiiight. Because 6-6 in the most ridiculously deep conference is terrible. Minnesota or Michigan State at 6-6 don't deserve bowling, at least at their current locations.

ESPN vs ESPNU...pretty easy decision which is better for exposure. I hate the Tulsa part but 2:30 on ESPN on new years eve is pretty great exposure.
