Other than the fact its a rematch. the Liberty Bowl is a pretty good bowl game for a 6-6 team

This feels like a step down from the pinstripe bowl to me, maybe it's just because we already beat the team.

Bowl: I'm okay with it. Not a trash bowl like Independence or Detroit (which was never in play)
Opponent: Glad they are a good team, not glad about the 3 times in a year thing. Better than ULM. Would have rather played Purdue in Dallas
Location: Perfectly fine. Happy actually. Memphis sounds fun and is only a 10 hour drive.

Which is the point of a bowl game. I agree this must have been the only option because they had to have known that the intrest level for ISU and Tulsa fans would be pretty low for this game.
