Liberty Bowl

it's a sign the troller coaster must come back...the football gods miss it....someone start the thread.

Tulsa fans are excited we are not having to play a Sunbelt team

Of course you are. We are a much different team. We've been 3 three QB's, 4 different times. One of our 2 best players is injured. Many other players are beat up, but most will likely be back.

Great bowl game, annoyed at opponent.

Only bowls I'd be less likely to attend would be Detroit and Shreveport. Especially to see us play a team we've already beaten. College football is a broken piece of greedy ****.

I wouldn't want to play Iowa twice in a season, but I don't give a **** about playing Tulsa twice in a season or 3 times in 385 days. It isn't like Tulsa fans are going to constantly be bragging about winning if they win their second shot. This is a good bowl in a good location and we had an average year.

NIU will lose by 35 and people will be reminded why the BCS is a POS.

We lost a starting o-lineman, not too many injuries, it was a good season just poor qb played killed us in the two games we needed to win, for our program to be where we want to be we have to start winning against BCS teams. A win against Iowa State in the Liberty Bowl could allow us to end back up in the top 25 again.

The big story here is OU getting left out of The BCS when they only lose to two number one teams. How in the world does that happen?

Nothing against NIU...it's not their fault...but I hope they get rolled by 70. Yes 70 or more. If FSU breaks 100 I still may not be happy. Voters...seriously...use your ******* head for more than a hat rack.

I can't remember his name, but Tulsa had a pretty good wide receiver injured in the opener,is he back or out.

Come on.......it's a bowl game, in a decent location. Kind of strange to play the same team again, but that is just the way things work out sometimes.

Memphis is not a bad city. Extra things to do and see there.......Graceland, MLK historic site, the Pyramid Arena, which I think is actually a retail space now. Might be a fun town to spend New Year's Eve in.

so the people that said that no way ISU would play Iowa again when I mentioned it a couple weeks ago....hmm.
