When they changed owners about 2 years ago, it really went down hill. It went from a mountain of beer on fire sale to about 3 cases of miller lite laying on the floor. Hopefully these new owners restore it to its pre-2007 greatness.
Ahhh, good ol' Keg Shop Friday afternoon fire sales. Where else could you get a case of Natty Lite for $5?
Nothing beats a free keg from the Keg Shop.
I went in there last September and they had leinenkugel sunset wheat kegs for $40.. We bought 3 of them.
I heard they ran into the same licensing problem that Sgt. Peppers ran into. Something about they didn't have the proper license for liquor and were closed down for a bit..
$8.00 cases of Coors Light back in the late 80's. I'm not sure how many of those I got from that place.
I am so happy that Peppers is back open. The atmosphere of that place may be the best in Ames.
Is it the smell of sweat or the dangerously slick floors that attract you to Peppers?
This cannot be!! Boy, I guess the economy must be really bad!
They used to sell a case of Dubuque Star longnecks for $5.99 back in the 80s...the good old days!
