NCAA rules prohibit it unless you can get each team to agree to it before the beginning of the season. But call up Nike, and get the same uni's made in cardinal, we have almost a month before they have to wear the home ones again.

Just get cardinal colored ones and go with those at home. I like the cardinal and gold rather than ketchup and mustard like the last 30 years.

I was telling my brother-in-law (Hawk Fan) before the game the whole uniform color/helmet logo saga and when they showed the team coming down the tunnel on the big screen, then coming out onto the field, he said "why don't you guys keep those throw-backs for the rest of the year, they look really sharp." I agreed and post my vote for keeping them.

Agreed. Keep 'em! Never liked the redesign that added an additional semi-official color to the mix.

I loved the uni's as well and also wish we would use the gold instead of mustard yellow. I liked the colors and also wished we could keep those helmets but change the emblems. What a day!!! I think that is my favorite game of all time at Jack Trice.
