NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

Chiefs were missing Smith the last time they played a few weeks back and held them to 1 sack and 8 QB hits.

We were missing Pop, Smith and Drue who I really like.

I feel okay as possible, but going on the road at Buffalo will be crazy. Just need to limit mistakes and have no special team fuckups like dropped punts

Super Bowls are on neutral fields. He's never played a road playoff game as a visiting team in a hostile playoff environment. Do I think it will make him nervous? No, lol. But he's never had to face it. That's not nothing in my opinion.
Honest question, what makes a road playoff game different than an in-season road game if it's not a mental thing for the player?

Seems like Chiefs are going to be the healthier team again this weekend. Bills could be playing all backups at LB and it’s possible that CBS for Buffalo could be an issue.

Not to mention the Chiefs were able to rest starters in week 18, were Buffalo didn't, and the Chiefs have two more days of rest going into this game.

That seems kind of aggressive. But yes, if I were building a team from scratch, I'd take Allen over PM as my QB.
The one trait Allen has over Mahomes is running the ball, using his size to get extra yards. I am not talking scrambling here, but as the primary ball carrier. That is also the biggest threat for QB's, like Allen to getting hurt, much like Cam Newton. In the NFL QB's that run the ball as many times as Allen does quickly find their body is breaking down from the constant pounding that they take when running.
Every other trait, Mahomes is equal if not superior to Allen including scrambling with the ball when the play breaks down.

Of course I’m not. Just to humor you, I’m curious on your argument for this
Obviously both are great. I just like Allen's size and running ability more than Mahomes, and I don't think he's had anywhere close to the weapons on offense that PM has had over the years. Kelce will go down as one of the best TEs of all time, PM is renowned for the magic he creates when a play breaks down, and he's definitely great at it, but having Kelce is a huge safety valve and reason for those PM heroics. Allen hasn't had anywhere close to a guy like that to lean on for most of his career. Same with Tyreek for most of PM's career up until this year. KC has also had a much better OL than Buffalo through most of their careers so far. Strip away those advantages PM has had, and yeah between the two I'm going with Allen to build a team around. JMO.

Mahomes creates the magic because hes good. When Allen tries to create magic, he turns the ball over. You cant tell me that the receiving corps of Gabe Davis and Stefon Diggs is worse than a Chris Conley/Demarcus Robinson corps. Most QB's dont have guy like TK and Hill because they are generational talents. Also, did you watch the 2020 SB? The one where mahomes was constantly running for his life because his OL was so bad?

Go back to week 2 or 3 of this season and if someone offered to switch KC's skill position players with Buffalo's, you'd probably get a fair number that would seriously consider it.
