NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

Play like they did tonight and look out. Today was a huge day for the Chiefs...taking down the Raiders on the road in blowout fashion and both the Chargers and Broncos losing at home to teams they should have beaten...

Next weekend will be very telling. If they can beat the Cowboys in Arrowhead I am not sure they lose again. Three home games in a row starts Sunday. This was the first game all season I thought THIS is the Chiefs of the past two years...hopefully something has clicked.

Looked good, but still not sure if that was mostly because of the Raiders play. Think that team is a bit of a mess right now. We will see if Chiefs back it up next vs Dallas.

Chiefs are back!

Encouraging! And great timing for us Chiefs fans considering the TT loss!

Yeah Dallas is looking strong. That will definitely be interesting. Have the Chiefs made a turn?

I am not fully convinced the problems are completely fixed, but still looked better than earlier in the season. I know Rodgers was not playing for GB but the defense still looked better. The Raiders are a mess right now, but the defensive line is looking better and the offense seemed to click a bit more. I think the key to the offense is getting Kelce going again. On defense, I definitely think playing Chris Jones inside is the difference,

I know the Cowboys were down some big players but that was a great effort by the Chiefs defense.

Four straight wins and no team has scored more than 17 in that span. Holding Packers and Cowboys to under 10 points each even without key players is noteworthy.

Two straight games with division foes of Raiders and Broncos both of which aren't looking good at all lately...could be sitting at 9-4 headed to a rematch with the Chargers. Raiders have lost three straight and got pummeled at home by the Bengals today.

Everything isn't fixed but the way they're playing now, I think winning out is definitely doable.

Chiefs now control the division with a 2 game led at 4-1. Three games left, home to Pittsburg and then on the road at Cincinnati and Denver.

Go Chiefs

Maybe lose to church cincy. Hopefully win out and number one seed NE going to lose. Hopefully Titans as well

Don't think Chiefs can slip up at all if want to get the #1 seed as hard to see Tennessee losing more than one game down the stretch here. NE for that matter too although slightly more difficult schedule.

Kept wondering last night how this offense has fallen so quickly to a bottom 10 offense in the NFL, only to check stats last night and find out they are second in points scored (albeit with one more game played). Oakland games skewing quite a bit.

Rush D got gashed yday which is a little concerning, but Jones is most of that if he's playing well. Bolton played incredibly well, hoping he can become bit more of a 3 down LB.

Starting to feel like a carbon copy of 19 SB team's path. Rough start to regular season. Lose midseason game to Tennessee and defense has a ton of questions. Win out to end the year on strong defense and tight low scoring games. Turn it on for the playoffs.

Teams are not allowing the Chiefs to throw deep, and daring them to run the ball. The problem is that the Chiefs just do not have a back that can hurt them in the run. Last night, the kid from LSU had holes open that he should be getting to the second level, and he gets 3 to 5 yards at the most.
We really need a bigger back that hits the hole and is difficult to bring down.

Chiefs are still missing a #2 WR. They need a possession type big body guy like Mike Williams from the Chargers. Beeing able to add the fade route and someone who can win on jump balls would be great. Getting offense from someone other than Hill and Kelce would do wonders for the team and Mahomes.

That was one HELL of a fun game to watch. I’d marry Kelce.
Just chiming in to say what a win last night for the Chieeeeefs!

Super exiting game and finish! Kelce was other worldly on Thurs night!

Keep in mindI think Josh Gordon was out with Covid this past week also. He was just starting to get into the rotation. Don't know much about his past troubles but if he can turn it around and help the Chiefs, that would be amazing.

Feel sorry for Clyde Edwards Helaire. He must feel snake-bit! Out again, this time with a collar bone. Likely fractured or maybe a separated shoulder?

Football is a tough sport. This guy has really had more than his fair share of injuries though. Already 3 major injuries in his short 2 year career.

Yep, hoping it's not broken.
