I couldn't believe they ran the ball there. We were getting 8 to 10 yards at will dumping it off. one more throw and we could of downed it if we wanted too after they wasted 2 timeouts.
I've been really underwhelmed with Jaran Reed through 2 games. I was expecting to actually have a good front 4 but they've actually gotten worse

I think they need to move Jones back to the middle.
One more loss and I'll call for Andy Reid's job again. That usually gets them going in the right direction.
I don't want to be the Refs guy but that defensive PI against the chiefs late seemed very tricky tac and everyone knew that play was the decider 1 way or another.
The defense can't stop anyone right now. Gives up too many chunk gains. They do need someone to step up as a 3rd receiver after Hill and Kelce too. Chiefs giving me a lot of the same headaches as the Cyclones so far. Lots of talent on the team that just aren't clicking as a whole unit.
Chiefs have a great offense and no defense while the Clones have a great defense and no offense. Been making for frustrating weekends!
Chiefs are turning the ball over too much obviously and Mahomes I think is still learning how to play now that teams are completely taking away the deep ball. I think he has tried to force some stuff a few times. But the fumbles can't happen and the defense is just horrible. No pass rush at all even when the blitz. The Jones experiment at DE needs to end. I think getting Clark and Gay will back will help but still need a lot of work. Spagnola's defense doesn't work if your front can't get pressure on the QB. Despite how bad the defense has been, they would be 3-0 if the offense would take care of the ball.
We have the second highest paid defense in the league too IIRC.
We pay way too much money to a defensive line that doesn't produce much. Frank Clark should be arrested for robbery of $47.4M we are paying him last year and this year. Then we make bone-headed moves like not signing Melvin Ingram or a veteran DB. Coupled with Ben Niemann somehow getting way too many snaps. It's a poopshow all around.
I'm not expecting much. He keeps blowing his 2nd chances and hasn't played since 2019. He has just 1 season with over 1000 receiving yards which was clear back in 2013. Dude is a headcase, hoping he isn't the cancer in the locker room that he has been in the past.
I'm not sure we win the superbowl in 2019 without Clark becoming a monster in the postseason but that's what almost makes it more infuriating. Is it an effort thing? I don't get it.
Jaran Reed has also been underwhelming but too early to write that off as a bad deal yet
I know we've played three good QBs in Mayfield, Jackson and Herbert but four sacks so far is pathetic. Tied for 3rd to last. Tied with Jacksonville, one more than Philly and two more than Dallas but they haven't played their week three game yet.
