NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

Gee, wonder why he still hasn't found a team to sign with. Talk about flushing your career down the toilet like he has with bad decision after another

Bell is his own worst enemy, should have taken the money from the Steelers, and road off into the sunset a very rich man. but he gambled he deserved more and still have it in him to prove it, and he was a shell of himself when he came out of the year off. The Chiefs gave him his shot, and he was not a difference maker at RB, so they moved on. Bell can only blame himself for the money he left out there.

Well that is going to be a big loss on defense because I don't see how that doesn't net him at least some kind of suspension under the personal conduct rules. Am always amazed how some of these pro athletes still make such poor choices even after they sign their big contracts. Have so much to lose and makes you wonder what else he is up to that he felt the need to carry an uzi.

Will be interesting to see what the league does. Maybe the exempt list pending trial? I'm not sure they can let him play with this hanging over his head.

Speculation that the Chiefs could cut him loose, good behavior clauses and what not. Would be signed by Raiders in a few days I’m sure. Or Browns.

Guessing the Chiefs let this play out before they make a decision on him. Remember when it looked like Tyreek Hill was done a few years ago with his issues when they drafted Hardman as insurance.

I don’t think I want to get rich anymore now that I know I can’t drive around my Lambo with an Uzi in my hand.

Hill was an irreplaceable player to the offense.

Clark carries a massive salary, on a salary cap strapped team. He isn’t in the ‘core’ group of chiefs and really hasn’t performed to the contract. Sucks to do so but this is an easy out on a bad contract and he needs to be cut.

Use the money to sign Ingram on a short term sept and then lock up Orlando and Matheiu

Clark should also be charged with robbery for stealing $100M from the Chiefs. Sure he played well in like 3 games but every other game he is more then replaceable.

If the Chiefs can void his contract and get those salary cap dollars back it would be amazing. But I don’t think they will.

I think Clark gets arraigned tomorrow, 7/14/21?

If they do cut Clark due to some good behavior clause, will they have to pay him? I suppose if they can get a large amount of $$$ back by cutting him, that would make sense.

Anybody know about Ingram's health, knees, etc.?

I would assume if we cut him we're going to be voiding the dollars if there is an opening to do so.

If we don't have to pay him, will it still count towards the cap aka dead money or does it open up?
