I'd be shocked if he plays. This is probably just to keep KU guessing...
This is what I'm thinking. Kane came here to win big games like this. I'd be surprised to see him sit it out.I'm on the other end of you. I'd be shocked if he didn't play. I think they'll tape the **** out of his ankle and he'll be out there. However, I think he will see less minutes than normal
It depends on the ankle. If it has swollen up like a grapefruit and he can't even walk on it, he's not going to play. If the swelling is down and he can rotate it, they'll tape it up tight, give him a brace and send him out there.
All these predictions being thrown about are guesses without any basis in fact since none of us know what it looks like or feels like right now. Par for the course on Fanatic.
I think we can still win without him. I still think we have a good team. I dont want him to do further damage and save him for the long run
If Kane plays and has a 20+ pt game and a cyclone W, it could really propel him to the big XII POY race.
Seth Davis just said he talked to Hoiberg this afternoon...Kane was in pain this morning still, and won't practice today (obviously). Hoiberg will take the long term approach, meaning he will sit Kane if Kane can't go as the season is more important then this game Monday.
