#2 Kansas lost two this week including a beat down at home by 23

#3 Purdue lost at home to unranked (at the time) Rutgers a couple weeks ago

#6 Gonzaga lost at home this week to a bad Loyola team

#8 Xavier lost to a bad DePaul team this week

#9 Tennessee lost to a bad Colorado team by 12 earlier this year and at home to unranked Kentucky by 7

#10 Virginia lost to unranked Pitt

#12 Kansas State lost to a bad Butler team by 12

#14 TCU lost to a bad Northwestern State at home

#15 UCONN started off 14-0 and have lost 5 of 6

#16 Auburn has lost to unranked Georgia, Memphis, and USC

I could go on...

Good teams lose to 'lesser' teams all the time. Breathe.

Are people freaking? Figures. I stayed away today on purpose. I’ve never not sweated a regular season road game loss less. This team is for real. We will be fine. Winner of the conference will have multiple losses. We play in the best conference in the country. I’ll sleep fine tonight. So should all cyclone fans.

Who is panicking? Seems like we split with the Pokes most years. I don't get your anxiety.
Check out the game thread if you really want to know.

OSU isn't even a "lesser" team. They were favored at home in pretty much every computer ranking, although it was close.

We were also down two key players, Grill and Kunc.

If I were an OSU fan I'd see pretty bad under achievement going on.

There are no dominate teams this year in college basketball. Some opinions may differ, but it seems like there is more parity across college basketball then I can ever remember.

And it's an era with really no more shocking losses in the tourney but we've reached 'well there goes the 2 seed in Des Moines!' takes two years removed from a 2nd straight twenty loss season.

You don't get my anxiety because I don't have any. Peruse the gameday thread and there are plenty of cliffjumpers.
Most of them are just here for Iowa State failure, ie trolls and Hawkeye idiots.

Also the UConn team that beat Iowa State in 2014 on their way to the title lost a month prior to Louisville 81-48. Point being bad, frustrating losses happen you just got to be healthy and ready to make a run in March which I think this team is very capable of doing.
