How does a buyer contact you through there to let them know they want to buy your listed ticket? I thought ticketexchange was just a stubhub like market.
Much better idea for Cyclone Nation. Unfortunately, folks who use Stub Hub to sell do it because it is more about making money (exploiting ISU's success) than supporting the team.
People who have bought the tickets have already supported ISU's success through the ticket purchase and through their donations. Stubhub is the best way to recoup some of that investment if you can't make a game, simple as that.
The problem I have with ticket exchange is that while I have season tickets they arent bought under my name or with my account so I assume I am unable to sell them there. Can anyone tell me for certain?
The University doesn't consioder you a season ticket holder. You can manage the tickets if the person who bought them gives you the password information but otherwise you can't sell them through their portal.
I use the ticket exchange board on this site to market the tickets and then receive offers through PMs or email.
It's not perfect but I've never been ripped off. I've never sold to a non-ISU fan that I'm aware of. Nor do I care to.
Thats not really isu's "ticketexchange" that we were talking about then. Thats just using the ticket forwarding ability. Isu's Ticketexchange is a market for selling tickets as a substitute to stubhub.
I never use that. Actually, I think I used it once but yanked them off the site. Sorry for any confusion. If I have tickets to a game of any merit I come to this message board and always have takers. I then use the forwarding system.
