JTS construction webcam?

Is there a wall between the old and new in the lower level? I know they removed this in the upper but looks like it's still there in the lower bowl?

If you look at the virtual stadium (http://jacktricestadium.io-media.com/) and click on the seats in one of the old sections next to the wall, you can see that the new lower bowl seats are up a bit higher than the old seats. I imagine this is to clear the old pumping system, etc, under the structure, and also to provide better sight lines. This would explain why the wall still needs to be there.

I was in Ames today so I took a few pictures...

That is looking awesome. Wonder if the Naysayers will change their minds and go to Jack Trice and watch the Cyclones this fall.

This stadium, outside the press box, is going to look like a legit Top 30 stadium IMO. The entire atmosphere will be totally different. Ribbon board is going to be incredible. First couple games are going to be packed and rocking.

Not a naysayer here, but I haven't been to a game in years (live in Chicago area) and I am seriously considering getting season tickets in the new endzone (upper level) because of the renovation. Been waiting to see this since I was a freshman in 1995.

I know it was posted in another thread, but I haven't been able to find it. Does anyone still have the link to Gene Smith promoting the South Endzone Renovation back in 1999-2000? I have also searched YouTube and can't find it there. I remember my dad getting the VHS tape in the mail for that promotion, and would love to see it again.

No video found but I did find this article:

$14 million dollar cost? I know inflation would have made the same project more expensive today but that seems rather cheap. I remember seeing some of the concepts from the early 2000's and it is nothing like what is being done today. It only had the lower bowl and one tiny video board. Then there were banners of our retired #'s I'd assume. Rep gun is prepared for anyone who can dig up the old concepts from the 2000s. I tried but I can't find it anywhere.

I recently saw the vhs tape at home but don't currently have a vhs player
