Will they be removing the wall separating the old and new bleacher sections of the lower bowl? Seems like they did for the upper deck.
pics for those of us who aren't bandwidth hogs?
Saw somewhere that the aluminum was selected to enhance noise in the endzone. Brings back memories of the old armorey.Looking at the drawings from July 2014, it shows Aluminum Grandstands for the lower seating. I remember others mentioning this earlier. Any architects out there who have an opinion on Aluminum vs Precast. Did this save a lot of money? Seems like having uniform construction materials would have been a good way to go, especially matching the existing. The virtual view shows concrete surface in that area, so maybe it was just a mistake on the drawings and got corrected in a bulletin???

I think what I heard on the aluminum vs. precast for the lower bowl was a sound issue. The metal stands are supposed to reverberate more of the crowd noise back into the stadium, helping with the gameday atmosphere. The precast was used on the upper deck so you didn't notice any change in the architecture from the outside versus the old upper decks.
