I was in Ames today and took a walk during a break. Didn't have time to check the South entrance but hopefully next week.

All of the "in-stadium" pictures do nothing compared to the view when you come up towards it on Elwood from 30. The stadium looks big-time now.

From the first picture, it almost looks like they are putting in 1 additional suite in the SW corner.

I think that's actually a ramp for handicap seating. If you look at the renderings on the jack trice .org website, it's more clearly shown. I think they may have done this verus bench seating due to sightline issues with the suites.

If only there were some way to capture such a view. If only somebody could invent something where it takes what you see and describe in a thousand words and made it so everyone could see it. Someday...
