. . . and aluminum columns finally going up for the lower bowl.

The way these guys work, there will be a ton of them in place in the next couple days.
I'm seriously impressed with how well this project appears to be managed.

Its a football stadium in the United States. You know damn well that it'll be managed in the best possible way.

Steel and precast erection always tend to go fast. It's the nature of the material. It also helps when they aren't dealing with very large connections on any of those elements.

Do you know where they are making the precast concrete sections for the upper deck? It seems that they never have pieces sitting around. So I'm thinking they must be trucking them in from a nearby plant just as they want to install them.

I don't know where ( I'm in nyc) but Precast deliveries are almost always a just in time sort of thing. Those pieces probably went straight from the truck to their final resting positions in one pick. You'll see it a lot with parking garages or bridges. Just a **** load of trucks and trailers staged up on the side of the road somewhere waiting for their turn under the hook.

Anyone care to post a quick screen shot of it?

I was curious how the lower bowl construction was going to occur. It looked like footings were being poured but the 1974 original construction was done with a form that was moved from one section to another around the stadium. The curved nature of the south end zone made a form unlikely.

Will they be removing the wall separating the old and new bleacher sections of the lower bowl? Seems like they did for the upper deck.
