JTS construction webcam?

I bet price point doesn't change much for some of the seats further away from the field. And there will still be north hillsides. They could simply sell those to only JCC members + parents/guardians.

Don't know the current prices as I don't sit there, and didn't pay a lot of attention to the information regarding those seats in the letter/e-mail sent out by JP. I hope you're right...but I have not heard much optimism from the friends that sit there.

Yes, I understand that. The current endzone bleacher seats are very cheap. People with kids would sit there; often the kids got in free through jr cyclone club, and the parents would rotate back & forth between bleachers & hillside. It's my understanding that the bleachers & hillsides will be gone, and the seating prices will change accordingly. Sitting in cheap seats next to the jr cyclone hotspot will no longer be an easy option. This is why I said they would likely not be able to bring the kids any more, because they won't be able to afford it any more, not because there wouldn't be enough seats to go around.

Unfortunately, trying to become a big boy football program and not a family fun time event is going to have this affect.

IMO JCC is important to the AD as it gets kids in to experience cyclone FB at a young age, I think they will work it out so that parents and children will still be able to go without much of a ticket increase (obviously won't be the same set-up as now, but they will make it work). The more people at games and with a connection to ISU athletics the better.

Once again, I agree with the way you explain a situation. However, I will add a different dimension. We have lots of kids in our group, but we also have seats up close. We may still be able to get cheap seats, but it will be quite a different experience than we have now. And before someone criticizes me, I know that this is progress for the program. I'm just grieving a little about the losing my great seats.

Guys - I know it's progress, and I know it's good for the program. I am absolutely behind the SEZ, and have donated toward it. However, that doesn't stop me from feeling a little bit of sadness for some whose finances won't allow them to participate in the same way that they have in the past.

This is true. If (when) ISU has sustained success in the W-L column, I hope they can find a way to keep the family friendly part of it as well.

I just checked out the live feed and you can see the field crew working on coloring in the "CYCLONES" in the endzone grass.

Seems to me that those people that are currently in the EZ and hillsides will end up in the upper deck corners SEZ...possibly the lower level corners too depending on where they put the visiting fans. Still not bad seats, although not right up front. Sucks to be moved back, but there's probably no other BCS school in the country that has their cheapest seats right on the field. Most are in the nosebleeds. They'll still have the North hillsides for JCC, although I'm guessing the days of hillside season tickets are over.
