Still waiting on the number of suites though. You have referenced that many times in other threads. Please list that data so I can understand.

Now I wont truly be in a position to judge but I think the fan experience will be better at jack trice. And that is really all that matters. The dual video boards will be spectacular.

Type in regents proposal to change funding to state colleges and then read how much Iowa gets per iowa student compared to isu.
For decades the University of iowa has been over funded and the regents never corrected the error. (millions per year more in funding)
The regents tried to correct the issue this year. In other words iowa has built their college at the expense of tax payers and the other state colleges as they were grossly overfunded. They still are as the legislature was scared to take the 12 million per year from them.
Just imagine the dorms etc isu would have if the state wasn't subsidizing the u of i.

They should get an internal webcam for the following reasons:
1. So we can continue to widely speculate on details most of us have no direct knowledge on.

I've been told I'm not allowed to compare ISU to KSU without being called a closeted K-State fan. If I mention anything Texas A&M does, I'm an Aggie Mason Jar. I decided to exit stage left from the conversation since it goes down the same pointless spiral every time when you and/or Ribs are involved.
Since you insist, I still believe that a long range plan (20+ years) should include club sections on each sideline between the two decks, instead of in an endzone, since those seats are low and a fairly decent distance behind the endzone. Suites would then be located in a new structure on the west side of the stadium, above the second deck. Semi-premium donors, who sit in club sections, but not suites, shouldn't have to watch the scoreboard for all plays past the 40 yard line on the other side of the field, since their seats are low and 20-30+ feet behind the endzone. Congratulations on winning this quantitative war in your head against Iowa, but its still my opinion that there is a lot of work to do before our premium seating wins the qualitative war in regards to quality of suites, and quality of location within the stadium.

This will be my last post in this thread about iowa but I saw in the paper they are using dormitory bonds to pay for their dorm.
I am not that familiar with college funding streams but that doesn't sound like athletic department money to me which was listed just before it.

There's a reason the Sukup endzone club seats are priced far below that of the Jack Trice club.
Hope we don't see a flood
In a flagrant attempt to keep this focused on the actual construction, we don't have to worry about the field flooding. The square at the east side of the south endzone has new pumps under it for keeping the field dry. Ben Bruns said that the field is way below grade in a flood plain, but even the old pumps seemed to do the job. The new pumps should remove any concern about the field flooding.
