Correction: not the majority of postERS, but perhaps a majority of the posts make ISU fans look like d-bags. Guys like Cydkar don't post near often enough. Yaman is always good, and 17 is most of the time. After those three, it kind of drops off.

No, they don't. But the shear volume of ISU threads started by hawk fans in their rivalry forum proves that ISU is Iowa's number one rival and Iowa fans care deeply about ISU when they claim not to.
Edit: currently there are two threads not about ISU on the entire rivalry page. Of the three active threads all are about ISU and all were started by hawk fans. Lots of caring over there, tons.

Not trying to really dispute your overall point (that we consider ISU our #1 rival), but all talk about Wisconsin, Northwestern, etc. goes on in the football forum, while the ISU stuff stays in the rivalry forum. So there is usually a lot of chatter about our other rivals, but it doesn't take place in the rivalry forum.
But ISU is still our #1 rival, IMO. Then Wisconsin, then Northwestern, then Minnesota.
They definitely are to me. WAY too few Hawk fans take Northwestern seriously. Even though they've had us by the balls for some time now, people still overlook them, like we're so vastly superior to them. If we ARE that much better than them, then it's time we start playing like it.
Currently there is one thread on the Iowa Football page about Wisconsin with 10 replies, zero NW, zero Minn.
There is a new thread on the rivals page about ISU though. It's about the new video screen at JTS. 70+ replies, lol.
That is what constitutes a rivalry to you? By using your logic the Iowa/PSU game is just as much a rivalry, if not more so since Iowa has an even better record against them than NW has against Iowa lately.
Might as well add tOSU as well. They have owned Iowa a lot more than NW has. So Your list would actually look something like ISU, Wisc, tOSU, PSU, NW, Minn. Gotcha.

You're right, its tough for it to be a rivalry when it has been so one-sided as of late.
