Jok not missing games

So Iowa sets up an *official* visit with a kid and then at the last minute decides to stop recruiting them and cancel the visit? Is that your claim?

This is the equivalent of: "You didn't break up with me, I broke up with you first". Typical Iowa ****, "We didn't want him anyway".

no suspension seems very light, but serving 4 days in jail seemed very harsh. maybe that was the tradeoff.

What is so hard to understand that the police arrested him and he subsequently had to serve a jail time. The University of Iowa didn't hand down this penalty. As you can see they view this misconduct much more heavy handed.

its not hard to understand. Im just saying that four days is on the heavy side for an OWI and the subsequent violation.

perhaps his coach took that under consideration when assessing the team penalty.

What team penalty? As far as the team or his scholarship is concerned, he did nothing wrong at all.

The NFL shouldn't have suspended Mike Vick at all either since he already served time in jail, right?

just a tip, you know your argument sucks when you have to find the most ridiculous example possible to defend it.

Here's a tip, you're not fooling anyone when you say you're not an Iowa fan, yet spend 621 posts defending them on their rival's message board.

The Phoenix suns just suspended Tucker for 3 games after spending three days in jail for a DUI. Is that more relevant for you?

i am pretty neutral on iowa. ive developed an affinity for iowa state over time, although i question my logic when i see the true idiocy of the fanbase any time iowa is mentioned. its a great social experiment though.

Legal punishment should not be considered action by the University. It should be a separate punishment. In the end, the university itself took no action whatsoever. That is not even debatable.

So no links to all those other big ten boards stating his offer was pulled then?

Hint: you are seeing idiocy, but that is a mirror you are looking in.

Iowa State doesn't like you, so you can just excuse yourself from our lives.

"Iowa State is happy to say it doesn't want @johnnydugouts as a member of their fanbase"

How is a Wisconsin fan "neutral" towards Iowa? That's absurd
