I believe the problem was due to sprouts which they have since taken off the menu.
Jimmy John's Permanently Dropping Sprouts From Menus
Doesn't matter.
All I know is this: If a company has a problem and fixes it, I hate them forever. It's the only logical thing to do.
Use your brain, man.
It was pretty easy for me to forgive them because I don't like sprouts on my sandwich anyway. I see this has only increased by ordering efficiency.
People make mistakes. I have already forgiven BP because I heard Tony Hayward say sorry a hundred times and I don't live anywhere near the gulf.
I don't like sprouts, either, but this is an opportunity to hate them for a problem that I never knew about.
Oh sorry I will go grab my torch pitchfork.
We might have a problem taking JJs down because of their speedy delivery people.

I love me some jimmy johns, but found out how many calories are in one of their sandwiches, so I don't eat there very often anymore.
3 solutions:
1) Wreck their tires with our pitchforks while they're parked. That will slow them down.
2) Burn the stores down. Then they can't produce, so speed doesn't matter.
3) Keep up the Internet hate to ruin demand. Then they lose income but still have their overhead. Our best boycott ever.
The three most overrated places in campustown in no particular order, Jimmy John's, Pita Pit, Fighting Burrito.
Jimmy Johns sucks. Ordered a #2 for lunch. There were 3 pieces of roast beef on the entire sandwich. $9 for a crappy sandwich, a medium drink, and an overrated bag of chips. No thanks.
I call bull****. There is no possible way that cost you $9.00 when I can order a #10 (the premium version of the #2), a large drink, a bag of chips, and a cookie for $9.50. You are making **** up to be a hater.

Plugged those same items into their online ordering system and got a price of $7.24.
Maybe if he left a tip. Otherwise, a little exaggeration.
So true. It's crazy how small it is.
I was always under the impression that the Ames Jimmy Johns that was on Hayward was one of their earliest stores. Anyone know for sure? It started in Champagne I think. I know there was a store in Lincoln too. I don't think the heavy franchising started until the late 90's. Now they are everywhere.
Try pricing it out with the Lisle, IL location (closest JJ to my work)
$5.25 for a #2
$1.75 for a med drink
$1.50 for a bag o chips
$.62 tax
$9.13 total
jodgg- Your order would cost $12.61 including tax.
