Jimmy Johns

Every time I get Jimmy John's I'm drunk as ****. I have never had a JJ sandwich sober. And every time I order 'the Italian'. Which I'm not even sure is on the menu.

The only thing I don't like about Jimmy Johns is they feel the need to dump a quart of mayonnaise on nearly every sandwich they make. I find mayo disgusting to begin with, but at most places I'll just deal with it because I hate making special requests on meals. Jimmy Johns, on the other hand, pretty much forces me to request no mayo.

Also, the people at the location next to the University of Arkansas campus don't know how to make half of the sandwiches. I think I've only ever received a couple of sandwiches from that place with ingredients that exactly match what is posted on the menu board.

Tell them to put mustard on. It's good stuff.

The three most overrated places in campustown in no particular order, Jimmy John's, Pita Pit, Fighting Burrito.

Is Sub City good in Marshalltown? It's pretty mediocre in Cedar Rapids. If it weren't just around the corner from my office I would probably never go there.

Fantastic, just don't go from 11 to 1 or you'll be in line for 30+

Like Jimmy John's. Had a bootlegger club today and probably having the ultimate porker tomorrow. Also a fan of the tuna and the garg.

Not sure I understand all this snobbery lately. Especially at a sandwich shop. Slow and steady = quality? REALLY? It's a fracking sandwich shop. Get a freaking life. I honestly don't get the whole "It's a chain restaurant so it automatically sucks" attitude. Especially when it comes to a sandwich.

I prefer JJ's over the other chains, but I'll eat at Subway and Quizno's as well.

In my book, sandwich snobbery is one of the worst kinds of snobbery. If you're going to be a snob about something, at least find something other than a cheap, lunch item.

Is saying "hold the mayo" really that tough?

I've been doing at Jimmy John's for 9 years. It's never held me back.

I've only been to the cedar falls stores. Can't imagine it being a lot different.
