I sit here and read these awesome updates everyday. I hear you talk about making calls and talking with your sources. And with this I wonder, how doese he have time for all of this. Do you actually have another job, and this site and research is more of a hobby? That is sure dedication.

Whatever it is, keep it up.

"Jeremy" is actually code name for a team of highly trained ISU gurus. They sneak around the Jacobson building all day and spy on whats going on. At least thats what I think....:wink0st:

Ya I saw "Jeremy" at the Ames airport, Jacbosen Building, Hilton, and Jimmy Johns. :biggrin9gp:

They are like those little Keebler elves.

Jeremy, you and the moderators do a hell of a job.

The Queen, The Vatican, The Gettys, The Rothschilds, *and* Colonel Sanders before he went **** up. Oh, I hated the Colonel with his wee *beady* eyes! And that smug look on his face, "Oh, you're gonna buy my chicken! Ohhhhh!" And they meet in a place known as "The Meadows."

If you guys had memberships to the other Cyclone websites you would see he gets all his info there about 20 min after they post. Nothing wrong with that but its not like his sources are so great

There is something wrong with that, and that's why Jeremy doesn't do that. Time and time again he has announced for people not to post info they have obtained from premium sites. Until that info is considered common knowledge (being spread around by mouth from many people) or somebody got it from a source (not a website) he asks that you not post it yet and he won't post anything until he confirms it with his sources.

Jeremy has been proactive in maintaining friendships with the other cyclone sites and not stealing anybody's info. So please don't accuse people of things that aren't true.

I'm not saying that he is copying the article down. Im just saying that Paul Clark posts something over there and 20 min later it is over here. Everytime. Once a coincedence. maybe. Over and over again. I think not

Let's not start this garbage again. Mmmmkay?

Same team.

I do have a 50 hr a week job in the IT industry for an Insurance broker in DSM. I am on the computer all day and with my email as well so I always have access to the site and my sources. It's a passion for me and nobody around here minds because I always do more work than the others and make time for the site when I can. I go in streaks because of meetings, etc.

As far as me reporting something after Paul, ummm let me remind you of something that has been brought up a couple of times before...

I think many of you forget that just as stories have been posted elsewhere first, they have also been posted here first, often times here first by a long-time. Do you want me to list some of them for a refresher?

Morgan being fired (8 hrs before anybody else), DMac leaving (45 mins before ESPN or DMRag) , McDermott being hired (6 hr exclusive), Brackins verbal, many other recruiting firsts, and the list goes on.

I'm not saying that some stories don't get brought to light because of another site, just as CNN probably gets a few heads-up on stories that are reported on MSNBC and vice-versa. I do not have access to anything on Paul's site and therefore it is a little hard for many here to believe that I would be posting things that he does. It's kinda hard to know what somebody posts if you don't have access to it.

Secondly, many of Paul's sources are my sources as well, and vice-versa. If they learn something, most likely they're going to call both of us, as well as the DMRag, Chris, etc. It's not a secret how these things work, it's a big network of people knowing other people, simple as that.

I know it's just a joke to some people but to me it's personally offensive because of the time, energy, money and resources I put into getting stories either first or at least accurate. I do my best and since I am in meetings a lot of the day, I can only post things once they've been confirmed and some of the time that is going to be after it's been reported elsewhere, often times not though.

Did you ever stop to think that perhaps the info is leaked to each of them at about the same time?

Personally, I don't really care where Jeremy gets his info. I just think it is nice to be able to have a board to interact. The Rivals board has gone to "Members Only" and is absolutely dead. This site has much more discussion and some pretty good posts. Why trash someone who provides such a forum and isn't profiting from it?

Great post Jeremy. I just saw this and if you hadn't already posted I was about to say some of the same things in your defense. You've had many stories broke before any other website has reported them. People who have been here since the start of this board know that you are very proactive about not having people post stuff here that is being reported on a premium site.

I took this for what it was, some noobs stirring the pot who didn't know any better.

Just as a quick follow-up, I see on the front-page of CR that there is a picture of Harbaugh and a story probably talking about him being the front runner, just a guess. Funny thing is, my story has been up for a couple of hours now. Hmmmmm....

Sorry if that sounds egotistical but I wanted to make a point.
