Jeremiah Williams to the transfer portal.

I hope they don't bank it, but at this point in the process, I kind of lean towards that's what they'll do.

I would love for them to find a Big Rob replacement in the portal, even if he has to sit a year. People give him a lot of ****, but he does a lot of junkyard dog stuff for this team that will actually leave a pretty big void after the upcoming season IMO. Need to bring in another enforcer type. Moussa Cisse is still in the portal, and would be ideal get for them as a sit one, play 2 guy. Cisse and JT Rock would make for a really solid front court in 2024-25.
Imagine a defensive front court of Cisse and Biliew....

I mean, even if the guy isn't very good, you can't tell me that another big body wouldn't come in handy at some point
This is exactly it. If you've ever seen BRE play then you know the more bodies we bring in the less we need to rely on BRE late in the game to make a free throw.

And we’re even bigger than that now. Let’s see, spend all season complaining about 3 point shooting = we need a true center!

I don’t get it. We really need outside shooting. Wish we would go after CJ Fredrick honestly.
They've replaced the three guards lost with three transfers and a freshman guard.

They haven't replaced Osun Osunniyi and his defense & rebounding.

10 fouls a game between Jones & Ward may not be enough.

I guess if the working idea is that we just have to have the exact same makeup as last years team then this makes sense. Didn’t end up working that well last season though. Change and dynamism is a must for a program like ours if we want to overachieve.

I, like everyone else, welcome better shooting. It certainly was the weakest part of the Cyclones game last year.

I just hope the do not sacrifice defense too much.

Defense was they biggest reason for the improvement from the Prohm era.

If they can convince a good shooter I'd want that but I wouldn't hate getting a Hason Ward type with multiple years to play to develop this year and step in next year. Since we lose Rob, Ward, King and Omaha after this year.

You're probably correct but I'm hoping for two years of Omaha.

I remember hearing one year out of Foster a few years ago too.

He is, or was, still riding the bench at SMU the last I heard.

I'm not completely familiar with JT's game, but I don't feel like you could play Cisse and JT at the same time. However, I also would be surprised if JT is ready to start right away, so Cisse starting, and splitting minutes with JT at the 5, would pair nicely with Milan at the 4.

Watch 5 minutes of each play and you can see that they are very different players

how is Cisse a sit one , play two guy? I'm not saying you're wrong, but I didn't realize it...that is all.

Played one year at Memphis, transferred and played immediately at OSU for 2 seasons.
